We have an exciting opportunity for a group of customers to be involved in the recruitment process of three opportunities to Platform’s senior leadership roles and Group board. Having customers involved in this recruitment is a priority for Platform as we continue our work to put customers at the heart of everything do. You will be supported by colleagues before and during the process to ensure you have a full understanding of what is expected of you during the day and you feel fully prepared.
Customers who take part will be briefed beforehand either by colleagues from Platform Housing Group or the recruitment agency dealing with the role. You will be invited to a discussion with the candidates for the role and then we will ask you to feedback your views into the relevant decision-making panel. You will need to be available for the whole day.
The details are as follows:
Panel 1: Group Chair Role (up to 3 customers required). In Person.
Our current Group Chair will be stepping down in 2026 once a replacement is found. The Group Chair will guide the Board in setting strategic direction, ensuring effective governance, and building strong, transparent relationships with our customers, stakeholders, and the regulator.
· Date: Tuesday 25th November. In person at our Solihull office.
· Customer panel will be briefed by Platform Housing Group colleagues or recruitment agency beforehand, date TBC.
· Room booked out at our Solihull office for meet and greet with candidates for the Chair role.
· Customers should be available all day and be able to travel independently to our Solihull office. All reasonable travel expenses will be covered.
Panel 2: Group Chief Executive Role (up to 3 customers required). Virtually
As some of you may be aware, our current Chief Executive Elizabeth Froude is stepping down to join SAGE Homes in 2026. We are therefore looking for a new Group Chief Executive. The recruitment process for this role will take place online.
· Date: Friday 28th November OR Monday 1st December – please indicate your preference
· Customer panel will be briefed by Odgers (recruiting agency) beforehand. Date TBC.
· Meet and greets will take place virtually with candidates for the GCE role.
· Customers should be available all day
Panel 3: Chief Investment Officer Role (up to 3 customers required). In Person or Virtually (not mixed).
· Date: Tuesday 9th December. Virtually or In Person at our Solihull office – please indicate your preference.
· Customer panel will be briefed by Platform Housing Group colleagues or recruitment agency beforehand. Date TBC.
· If in person, a room will be booked out at Solihull office for meet and greet with candidates for the Chief Investment Officer role. (Otherwise, Virtually).
· Customers should be available all day and be able to travel to BBP if an in person panel is agreed. All reasonable travel expenses will be reimbursed.
