I have been involved with Platform Housing for a number of years now as a Community Rep, as well as a member of the Scrutiny Panel. It was a way for me to see how Platform ticked. I’ve found that being involved has given me a voice to help improve services in many areas – for example, repairs. It also provides the tenants' viewpoint, which ultimately helps challenge Platform to get it right first time.
Customer Scrutiny Panel
Our Scrutiny Panel is made up of customer volunteers who work together to review how we’re doing and where we can improve. You’ll help choose the topics we look into, explore how services are performing, and make recommendations that really influence change. You’ll get training and support along the way, meet new people, learn new skills – and earn shopping vouchers for every hour you attend and contribute to meetings. It's a great way to get involved and make a real difference.

It's been an interesting journey and a great learning curve while getting our voices heard. It's a two way benefit as I've learned and developed valuable skills that have given me confidence, while doing something to help others.
Customer Voice Panel
![]() | As a CVP (Customer Voice Panel) member, you’ll help make sure the customer voice is heard loud and clear at a strategic level. You’ll work closely with our Board and senior team, get involved in reviewing how we’re performing, and help shape the services we provide. You’ll also join one of our service panels – either Customer Service or Asset and Sustainability – where you’ll take a closer look at how we can keep improving things for all our customers. Being on the customer voice panel allows me to share my opinions on how things are going in regard to the services we all receive both from Platform and their sub-contractors. I love knowing that my feedback helps to shape products and services to better meet customer needs.
