I feel included in every group that I engaged with in my community.

I can happily confirm to you that I feel relevant and included in my community while living in my Platform Housing home. I have good and friendly neighbours except for one particular individual known by all other neighbours.

When I first came to Worcester from the Isle of Wight, I was completing a course at the University. The university supported and signed posted me to get support with my mental health and disability. I was chosen to be the course Rep without any election even as the only black British in my cohort. I fell included.

I also joined a local church and I was warmly welcomed. I feel more included when the former reverend nominated me to serve as a steward in church. Two lovely ladies from church also recommended me to go for the Great British Sewing Bee knowing that I have skills in dressmaking. I continually receive complements for my appearance and fashion styles as elegance and decency

Jollof rice which is an essential African party food would have been missed out at my wedding if the wedding team at the Holt Fleet has not agreed to give it a go for me. The team has never heard of jollof rice but they made remarkable teamwork with me and served my guests at the evening party with tasty jollof rice. It made me happy.
